Through ongoing community supported donations, we offer grants to teachers and administrators in our district to help them realize their innovative dreams for improving education for HW students.
The Hamilton Wenham Edfund is an independent, community-based non-profit organization committed to advancing educational excellence in the Hamilton Wenham Regional School District. Through its endowment and annual community donations, the HW Edfund offers financial resources in the form of grants to teachers, administrators, and students that exhibit innovation, collaboration, creativity, and impact. These grants provide opportunities for dynamic learning, innovative teaching, and enhancements to existing infrastructure that promote excellence across the schools.
Making a Difference Today
The Edfund is a community of volunteers led by a board of directors consisting of 21 residents from Hamilton and Wenham. As outlined in our new Strategic Plan, the Edfund will be a leader in focusing community involvement and collaboration to advance education in our public schools. We sponsor "fun" and "fund" raising events throughout the year to build spirit and broaden participation in the community. The Edfund is a community effort, supported by hundreds of contributors and volunteers, local businesses and family foundations. We depend on support from people like you!
