Heard the news? The Edfund is off to a tremendous start to the school year by granting the high school three 3 Dimensional printers! 3D printing technology is a cutting edge technology that allows the creation of a three-dimensional object of almost any shape through an “additive” process. Hamilton-Wenham will be one of the first High Schools to be on the cutting edge of this technology and the curriculum opportunities that surround this purchase are innumerable. As Board Member Mela Lew stated: "If you can dream it, you can print it." Well done Edfund!
For all those aspiring CSI investigators out there, this new class offered at the High School is for you! The Edfund was thrilled to bring this exciting technology to enhance the science curriculum and is excited to hear it is one of the most popular classes!

These state of the art camera attachments fit over the eyepieces of students' microscopes and project images onto their iPads. From here, students are able to manipulate images in order to better identify and comprehend what they are observing. Our high school classrooms are being ignited with a passion for science and exploration because these cameras are negating some of the basic hold-ups attributed to traditional microscopes in the classroom.
